Mele Kalikimaka! I hope your Christmas season has been merry and bright. If you're looking to boost your family's Christmas cheer on a budget, I'm here to help. I've read up on a few FREE events our wonderful island has to offer. If you know of one that I haven't mentioned please drop the details in the comments.

We missed the lighting ceremony but we can still enjoy this beautiful Christmas tradition everyday, now through December 29, 2023 from 8a-10p.

We also missed the parade for lighting of Kapolei City Lights but we can still enjoy the decorations from now through January 2, 2024. Check out the lights Mon-Thu 7:30a-8p & Fri-Sun 10a-10p

Windward Mall has a Holiday line up I'm sure you'd love from Line dancing, to choir performances and even storybook sing-alongs. Click the link to see the full schedule.

Ka Makana Alii has many different events including free ukulele lessons, a magical snowing tree, dress up contests. Click the link to see more events this mall has to offer.

Kahala Mall is a cute little Mall that is offering Holiday Performances at their Center Stage. Click the link to see the schedule.

Hukilau Marketplace is found at the Polynesian Cultural Center is Laie. They're offering live entertainment, pictures with Santa, and train rides. This free event begins on December 15-22 from 6p-8:30p.

Iolani Palace has free entertainment every Friday. Come hang out on the lawn in the heart of Honolulu. Check the link to see the line up.

Hawaii Kai Marina has an annual boat parade and this years event will be held on December 16, 2023 from 6p-10p. Click the link for more details.

I hope this list was helpful! Do me a favor and share this post so other families who are looking to celebrate Christmas on a budget can see that there are many options available. Please don't forget to check out our FREE Nativity Lesson Plan, Dear Santa, and Christmas Coloring Pages. Again, these are all free. Go out and enjoy the rest of the Christmas season.

Merry Christmas!
