Mele Kalikimaka

Mele Kalikimaka! Merry Christmas to you and your ohana. The Christmas season is in full swing and we're excited to show you all the new Christmas Activities we've been working on. Get comfy because we have so much to share.

This lesson plan helps your toddler navigate through traditional Christmas festivities like making gingerbread houses, building snowmen, putting up a Christmas tree, and more.

We don't have snow in Hawaii (except on Mauna Kea), so we got creative and made dough, then we molded the dough into a snowman. My original plan was to make snowmen at the beach, but the weather was terrible.

We make a gingerbread house or gingerbread cookies every year! My husband and I love decorating the cookies and our girls love eating all the frosting and candies.

This lesson plan teaches your little ones about Santa Claus and his elves. There are tons of Christmas movies available to you that will help you teach your child about Santa's very important job.

Visiting Santa Claus wasn't on the list of things to do on our lesson plans but you should definitely add it into your schedule. Attend all the free Christmas events you can. With so many to mention I'll save that for another post.

Making cookies for Santa is a tradition most households do. The girls decorated gingerbread cookies for Santa while ours baked in the oven. Before bed on Christmas Eve night, we set them on a tray with milk and some carrots for the reindeer. We made this tray special for Santa.

Your child will learn the real Christmas story with this lesson plan. We want the world to know about Jesus so we're offering this for FREE! We hope you really enjoy this one, share it with your family and friends if you do.

We had a simple activity where I had my girls look for all the baby Jesus' they could find in Grandma's garden. She has lots of figurines in her garden and every year she makes a Christmas Wonderland for her grandbabies. This was a great activity for us to get out enjoy the garden.

This is picture includes a couple of the activities mentioned in our Nativity lesson plan. We made the simplest Nativity Puppets and poked holes in an old box to Fill the Stable. I showed Elsie how the sticks fit in the holes and she was occupied for a while, taking it apart and putting them back together.

It's the season of giving so I made some extra activities and pictures. These are available to you completely FREE! Make little activity books for your keiki to keep them busy in the car or while you're making dinner.

Dear Santa is a FREE letter to Santa activity made with our toddlers in mind. You can help your little one by writing their answers or just let your toddler draw a picture for their answers.

Keep the magic alive with Letters to Santa, an added service. After your keiki mail their letters to Santa, they can expect to hear back from him within a week. You do not need to mail your child's letter (I'm sure you know how to get a hold of the big man). When you're checking out you'll be promoted to add your child's name and mailing address. You can add this to your cart multiple times but you need to fill in the names and address individually if you want one letter for each child.

We will be participating in the Polar Express Keiki and Community Craft Fair at Laie Elementary on Friday, December 8, 2023 from 5pm-8pm. There will be food, crafts, a Christmas movie, and multiple prizes. Come check us out, we will be offering our Letters to Santa, Melted Snowman Slime Craft, Free Coloring pages, and of course our Christmas Lesson Plans.
