Summer Toddlerschool

Updated: Oct 16, 2023

With Summer fast approaching we've worked hard putting together 4 weeks of toddlerschool lesson plans and worksheets available for download. We're excited to share them with you all and we hope you really enjoy doing them with your keiki (children). (As an Amazon Associate, I earn from qualifying purchases.)

About the Lesson Plans

The theme for the month is Ocean Life and the two sub themes are Under the Sea & At the Shore. Each day you and your keiki will explore a different animal or element found at the beach or in the ocean. We've also added some worksheets available for purchase (Under the Sea & At theShore) to go along with each lesson but feel free to make your own and/or improvise. We personally don't use too many worksheets but we wanted to give you the necessary tools to do at least one activity listed on each day's lesson.

We did our best to choose activities that are simple to put together with materials you probably already have around the house. Any story time book recommendation can be found as a read aloud on YouTube for free; as well as any fact video recommendation. Any movie recommendation will most likely cost you a small fee if you don't already have access to them via streaming networks.

Check out our photos to see some of the fun things we experienced during our Ocean Life Toddlerschool lesson. We really took our time with this theme and spent 2 months going through it. We had lots of field trips to the beach and one family day at Sea Life Park. However you go through the lesson plan, have fun with it.

You can also check out our Ocean Life Pintrest Board for more ideas. We've added snack time and decoration ideas there; as well as other alternatives to the activities that we've put together on our Toddlerschool Ocean Life Lesson Plans. Please share with us how your Toddlerschool journey is going by commenting below or sending us an email. We can't wait to see how you've implemented these activities in your home.
